right personality
qualities that we
believe are essential
to success in this

Though not required,
it is preferred that
trainees have
completed all their
state licensing and
state course
requirements prior to
beginning their
training with World
Realty &
Management INC Trainees
receive a sales
manual, and other
pertinent books. They
must listen to an
extensive battery of
tapes which are
grouped into Part 1
and Part 2. Part 1
covers all the
technical elements
such as tax law,
general business law,
operation of a
cooperative
corporation or
condominium
association,
qualifying buyers,
valuation theory,
accounting and
financial analysis,
construction systems
and building
operation. Part 2
covers selling
strategy and
negotiating strategy.
After each part has
been completed and
extensively studied,
the sales trainee must
complete a written
pretest, normally
about 25 typed pages,
and then take a
four-hour closed-book
examination. The tests
must be completed 100%
correctly to proceed
to the next level. One
question on the test
requires that the
salesperson describe
each and every clause
of the standard
cooperative contract.
After completion of
the tests, the
applicant must then
complete an oral
review.
Only after the sales
trainee has been
licensed under New
York state law, has
completed all elements
of the training
program, and has been
approved by a
neighborhood sales
manager to join his or
her sales staff can
they begin to work.
Those that do complete
this program are by
far the most
knowledgeable in the
industry.

months

you for our training
program. However, we
will not permit you to
undertake any
professional
activities until you
have completed the
program unless you can
display to us that you
already have the
experience and level
of knowledge
commensurate with our
standards.
